VFS Butterfly Valves are robust and highly reliable shut-off valves designed for the interception and control of powdery and granular bulk materials. With more than one million units operating worldwide, the VFS range represents one of WAMGROUP’s most established solutions for bulk-material handling applications.

The compact and durable design makes VFS suitable for installation beneath silos, hoppers, feeders, screw conveyors and other process equipment where reliable material flow interception is required.

The valve is designed with a limited number of components, making it easy to install, inspect and maintain. Different disc and sealing configurations allow the valve to be adapted to the handled material and specific operating conditions.

VFS valves can be operated manually or fitted with pneumatic or other WAM actuators for automated opening and closing. WAM’s CP pneumatic actuators, for example, are specifically designed for 90° opening and closing of WAM butterfly valves.

The VFS range is particularly suitable for cement, concrete, drymix, minerals, aggregates, chemicals, food and other bulk-material processing applications.
