VFF Silo Closure Butterfly Valves are specially designed for installation beneath silos, hoppers and bins where reliable interception of gravity-fed dry materials is required.

The VFF range is particularly suitable for building-material processing plants, including cement, concrete and drymix applications. Its dedicated sealing geometry provides effective dust-tight closure while the abrasion-resistant construction ensures reliable operation in demanding bulk-material handling environments.

VFF valves are installed directly at the discharge point of storage equipment and can be used to isolate the material flow before downstream equipment such as screw conveyors, feeders, weigh hoppers or other dosing systems.

The valve can be supplied with manual operation or equipped with suitable actuators for automated material-flow control. WAM’s actuator range includes pneumatic solutions suitable for 90° opening and closing of its butterfly valves.
