WAMGROUP VCP is a spring-loaded pressure relief valve designed to protect storage silos, hoppers and bins against excessive positive or negative pressure during filling, discharging and material handling operations.
The VCP valve automatically reacts when the pressure inside the silo exceeds the preset operating limits, helping to protect the silo structure, venting filter and other connected equipment from damage. Its robust and lightweight design allows easy installation, inspection and maintenance.
VCP pressure relief valves are suitable for a wide range of bulk solids handling applications, including concrete batching plants, cement and building-material production, drymix plants, animal feed, food processing and chemical industries.
The VCP range is available in different sizes and materials of construction, including carbon steel and stainless steel versions. ATEX-certified configurations are also available for applications requiring equipment suitable for potentially explosive atmospheres.
The VCP can be integrated into complete WAMGROUP silo safety systems, including KCS, together with level indicators, pressure monitoring, venting filters and overfill protection.
