EI Bucket Elevators are designed for the reliable vertical conveying of fine aggregates, minerals and other dry bulk materials. The EI series is specifically developed for low-speed operation and demanding applications where durability, controlled material handling and reliable continuous operation are required.
The elevators are manufactured from heavy-gauge carbon steel with hot-dip galvanised surface treatment and consist of a head section, foot section and modular intermediate casing sections. The modular design allows the elevator height to be configured according to the required installation conditions and discharge height.
EI bucket elevators are equipped with abrasion-resistant PA6 Nylon buckets, providing increased durability when handling abrasive materials. The buckets are mounted at regular intervals on an endless belt and continuously lift the material from the loading section to the discharge point.
The material is introduced through the loading hopper in the foot section. The buckets pick up the material and transport it vertically along the elevator casing. At the head section, centrifugal force discharges the material through the outlet spout.
EI elevators are particularly suitable for fine aggregates and minerals with particle sizes generally below 5 mm, including calcium carbonate, lime, limestone, dried sludge, sand and similar bulk materials. They are used in building-material plants, asphalt mixing plants, storage facilities and chemical and petrochemical installations.
The modular construction, inspection openings and direct gearmotor drive provide convenient installation and maintenance, while belt misalignment and rotation sensors contribute to safe and reliable operation.
