SILOTOP® is a high-efficiency silo venting filter designed for the dedusting and ventilation of pneumatically filled silos containing cement, powders and other bulk materials. It is one of WAMGROUP’s established solutions for silo venting and has been used worldwide since its introduction in 1998.
The cylindrical filter features a compact stainless-steel housing with vertically mounted POLYPLEAT™ filter elements. During pneumatic silo filling, dust-laden air passes through the filter elements while the cleaned air is released into the atmosphere. The separated dust is automatically returned to the silo during the reverse air-jet cleaning cycle.
The automatic pulse-jet cleaning system is integrated into the hinged weather-protection cover, eliminating the need for a separate cleaning unit. The design provides efficient filtration, low dust emissions and easy access for inspection and maintenance.
SILOTOP® is particularly suitable for concrete batching plants, cement plants, drymix and mortar production, building-material plants and other facilities using pneumatically filled storage silos.
The compact design allows the filter element to be replaced quickly by a single operator, without special tools. An optional electronic differential pressure meter can be used for monitoring filter condition and maintenance requirements.
